Below is a list of all upcoming district events. We try to keep on top of all events to enable you all to have the best notice of these as we can. If you have any other events you wish to share with the district or advertise then please email one of the district team.

BEAVERS - Eureka Museum
Where: Eureka Museum, Halifax

Pick up points to be confirmed. Leaving approx 08;15. Expected to be back in Liverpool for approx 17:30hrs
Groups to arrange own Pack lunches.

Cost of the trip; £15 per child/leader/adult

Young Leader Module A (County)

Calling all section leaders! Are you working with one or more of our enthusiastic and hard working Young Leaders? Do you have a dedicated young person completing their D of E service with your section? Then please read on.

All Young Leaders and Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme volunteers are required to complete Module A of the Young Leader training scheme within 3 months of first starting. If your Young Leader(s) or D of E volunteers haven't yet completed Module A, then make sure they know about this opportunity.

The County Young Leader Training Team have organised two Module A training sessions on 23rd March 2019; the morning session (9.30 to 12:00) will be at 13th Bebington Scout HQ in Bromborough and the afternoon session (13.30 to 16.00) at Quaker Meeting House, Liverpool.

These sessions will be an excellent opportunity for our young people to complete this Module whilst mixing with others beginning their leadership journey. Please encourage all Young Leaders and D of E volunteer

suitable for both new and established Adult Leaders through all sections; and although not a required Scouting Training Module, a certificate of attendance is awarded plus various other awards. There is no pass or fail element; this course is run by Leaders with skills to assist fellow Leaders to gain knowledge from an array of traditional Scouting and additional skills, on a free to roam day and night basis, allowing you to gain hone re-kindle or refresh old ones.

You will be attending as a member of a group camp, contributing to and sharing all aspects of the camps upkeep. All equipment for the bases is supplied excluding personal sleeping tents and sleeping kit. You may bring your own axes, knives & saws - even if blunt.

WSJ Easter Egg Hunt
Where: Tawd Vale Adventure Centre

Our Merseyside World Scout Jamboree Unit Members would like to invite all of our members to their Easter Fundraising Event.

We will be running an Easter Egg Hunt at Tawd Vale Adventure Centre on Saturday 20th April.

Our adult members and our young people will be able to experience an adventure through the woods, following the map to find all the Easter eggs that have left behind by the Easter Bunny.

On your adventure there will be a number of bases you're welcome to join in with and create some Easter crafts.

And best of all every young person will come away with an Easter Egg.

All the bases on the day will mean each Cub and Beaver with have met the requirements for the Creative and Artist activity badge.

Scouts, Explorers and Young Leaders are all welcome to join in with the fun on the day.

The cost of the event is £7 and all proceeds from the event goes towards fundraising for the World Scout Jamboree for all 60 members from Merseyside in Unit 47 and Unit 49. Leaders wi
